Connor Thomas

Connor turned professional in 2018 and completed the PGA training programme in 2021. Connor started his career in the industry at a small private club called Hollywood just outside of Birmingham city centre in England; following Hollywood, in 2020 Connor moved to Olton Golf Club in Solihull where his passion for coaching excelled with him building a junior academy for the golf club which attracted many local juniors resulting in a sizable increase in junior golf at the facility. 

 

Connor has a real passion for coaching golfers of all ages and abilities from grass root juniors to the senior golfer and from complete beginners to golfers looking to compete at a high level, the coach-athlete relationship is important to Connor when he coaches and this is high on the priority list when it comes to his coaching beliefs. 

 

As a passionate golf coach, Connor continues to: read, watch, learn and ultimately upskill from some of the best coaches and minds from within the golf coaching industry for him to then implement into his own coaching practice for his students to benefit from. 

 

Connor is always looking for the 'low hanging fruit' to help his students improve and play their best golf.
