The 2021 season got off to a flying start for the CH3 Performance Junior Elite Program students. After completing Term 1 of the program which provides students with a holistic full time program with students enrolled at GEMS First Point School, the first event of 2021 kicked off this weekend.
The US kids Golf UAE Tour hosted its first Order or Merit event at The Montgomerie Golf Club. Each age group played an age specific course yardage providing a fair and stern test of tournament golf. Four Elite Program members played in the first Order of Merit event of the Tour with 2 victories, a 2nd & a 5th place finish respectively. Sam Durbin continued his excellent recent form winning the 13-14 boys category with team mate Adrian Larsson a close 4 shots further back in 5th place. Brothers Victor and Gustaf Larsson led the way in the Boys under 11 category with a Gold and Silver medal, 2 and 3 shots clear of 3rd place.
A stand out performance also goes to CH3 Junior program member Keiran Gouri with an excellent score of +4 for 9 holes in the Boys under 9 category picking up silver medal 2nd place finish.
