We are delighted to announce that as of January 1st2019 the Butch Harmon School of Golf will re-brand to the “Claude Harmon Performance Golf Academy – Dubai”.

This exciting change will see the golf school become the first facility to operate under the expert guidance of Claude Harmon III, bringing a fresh new look whilst still in-keeping with the Harmon family traditions and values.

The Harmon name in golf instruction is synonymous with success, quality and a winning mentality. Steeped in tradition, both his grandfather, Claude Harmon, and father Claude “Butch” Harmon Jr., have been the dominant teachers of their generation. Claude Harmon was the 1948 Masters Champion and one of the leaders in the shift to modern day golf instruction. He was ahead of his time using video and teaching aids when they had not been seen before.

Claude Harmon III opened our school here in Dubai in January 2008 and has continued the fine family tradition by molding the old teaching values learned from his father and grandfather with modern practices including physical conditioning and biomechanics. Claude has experienced great recent success with a stable including World Number 1 and back to back US Open Winner (2017/2018) and 2018 PGA Championship victor Brooks Keopka, World # 3 Dustin Johnson and World #8 Rickie Fowler, amongst a host of other prominent players in the United States.

The Claude Harmon Performance Golf Academy will continue to draw from the tradition and legacy created by the Harmon family, whilst adopting Claude Harmon III drive and passion for improving every player through a holistic and modern coaching philosophy, in the simplest and most achievable fashion.
